Wet Snow Overnight

Tonight a low pressure system will pass by the coast giving us 5 -10 cm of wet, heavy snow, by tomorrow morning. Temperatures will be near the freezing mark overnight and a few degrees above it on Monday.

On Tuesday another low will pass well east of the province.

On Wednesday a ridge of high pressure is located to our south and moves to our east late Thursday as a trof of low pressure passes by to our north giving rain and wind late and overnight before a cold front passes through Friday dropping the temperature.

On Saturday a ridge of high pressure passes over the region.


The forecast for Halifax:

Tonight wet snow. Accumulation 5-10 cm by tomorrow. L 0

Monday snow ending early then a chance of flurries or showers. H 2

Tuesday a mix of sun and cloud. L -6 H 0

Wednesday a mix of sun and cloud. L -7 H 2

Thursday a mix of sun and cloud L 3 H 10

Friday rain overnight then turner colder. Windy. 6 in the morning then falling to -3.

Saturday a mix of sun and cloud. L -1 H 2
