As we begin a new work week we will start out on Monday with a sunny and mild day thanks to a ridge of high pressure located to our south.
On Tuesday the ridge we move off to our east as a low pressure system approaches the area from the west. This low will hang around until later in the week giving us showers up to Friday, before a ridge of high pressure moves in on Saturday clearing things out.
The forecast for Halifax:
Tonight clearing after midnight. L 0
Monday mostly sunny. H 9
Tuesday cloudy, showers later in the day. L -1 H 6
Wednesday showers. L 2 H 7
Thursday flurries or showers. L 0 H 3
Friday cloudy. L -1 H 7
