Snow Beginning Friday Evening Changing to Rain Overnight

The low pressure system that gave us the rain this afternoon will move off tonight to affect NL overnight and tomorrow.

On Saturday a low pressure system will have secondary development in the Gulf of Maine and travel up the Bay of Fundy to be located near SE NB on Saturday afternoon. This system will give us snow beginning Friday evening changing to rain overnight.

On Tuesday another low will cross the southern part of the province giving us possibly more snow.


The forecast for Halifax:

Tonight showers ending. L 0

Friday a mix of sun and cloud in the morning, clouding over near noon with snow in the evening changing to rain overnight. H 3

Saturday rain changing to flurries in the afternoon. L -1 H 5

Sunday a chance of flurries. L-3 H 1

Monday a mix of sun and cloud. L -6 H -3

Tuesday snow. L -5 H 0

Wednesday a mix of sun and cloud. L -7 H -4
