Increasing Cloud Tomorrow With Snow Beginning Late

Late Thursday a low pressure system will move to our south then east. This afternoon Environment Canada put out a special weather statement for Yarmouth and Shelburne counties. After taking a quick look at the 18Z model runs it may need to be changed to a watch or warning and expanded eastward. Will have to wait and see what happens overnight.

On Friday high pressure over Labrador moves off and on Saturday a trof of low pressure swings through giving us rain. The low pressure system has trended further east since yesterday and will have to be watched to see if the eastward trend continues.

Yet another low comes up the eastern seaboard on Monday and this system will become clearer as we get to the weekend.

The forecast for Halifax:

Tonight partly cloudy. L -10

Thursday increasing cloud snow developing late. H -3

Friday mix sun and cloud. L -6 H 1

Saturday rain. L -5 H 3

Sunday mix sun and cloud. L -5 H 0

Monday possible snow or rain. L -5 H 0
