Some Sun Tomorrow before Snow Late Friday Night

The snow which has caused a rash of traffic accidents in Halifax today, will end this evening. A ridge of high pressure will move across the district overnight with some short lived clearing. Clouds ahead of the next system move in tomorrow afternoon. The system will begin as snow near midnight before changing over to rain during the early morning. Wednesday sees a chance of snow ahead of a rain maker for Thursday.

The Forecast for Halifax,

Tonight snow will end this evening, slight accumulation. L -6

On Friday a mix of sun and cloud with snow beginning near midnight. H -4

On Saturday the snow will change to rain early as temperatures rise overnight. Possible snowfall of 5 cm and rainfall of 2 mm. H 4.

Monday mostly cloudy chance of flurries. L -5 H -2

Tuesday partly cloudy. L -6 H 0

Wednesday chance of snow. L 0 H 0
