Showers Tonight, Some Clearing Wednesday Afternoon

Showers will develop this evening ahead of a low pressure system approaching from the Great Lakes. There is a risk of freezing rain this evening in areas outside of the city. Showers will end in the morning with some clearing in the afternoon with falling temperatures.
On Thursday a ridge of high pressure will move in giving  a mix of sun and cloud. Another low will pass by on Friday, high pressure on Saturday, another low on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Our roller coaster winter continues.

The forecast for Halifax:

Tonight showers with a chance of freezing rain, mainly outside of the city. Temperatures near 0 rising to 7 in the morning.

On Wednesday showers ending in the morning and windy. Clearing in the afternoon, temperatures falling to near 0 by evening.

Thursday we will see a mix of sun and cloud. L -8 H -5

Friday snow changing to rain in the afternoon. L -6 H 2

Saturday a mix of sun and cloud. L -6 H -3

Sunday snow beginning in the afternoon/evening. L -6 H -4

Monday rain in the afternoon. L -3 H 3

Tuesday showers changing to flurries. L -2 H 2
