Rollercoaster Winter Continues

A trof of low pressure will cross the area tomorrow giving milder temperatures and snow tomorrow afternoon. Showers can be expected along the coast. On Saturday a large area of high pressure will build over the area and stay with us until Monday. This same high pressure system will keep a ow pressure system further to our south than I thought yesterday. We still may see some flurries on Sunday.n Tuesday a low pressure system passes through Quebec giving us warm temperatures and rain. On Wednesday another ridge of high pressure builds into the area.

The forecast for Halifax,

Tonight partly cloudy with lows near -9, temperatures will rise to -5 by morning.

Friday snow begins near noon. 5 -7 cm with rain along the coast which will reduce these amounts. H 2

Saturday a mix of sun and cloud. L -8 H -3

Sunday a chance of flurries. L -11 H -6

Monday increasing cloud.  L -10 H 4

Tuesday rain. L 5 H 7

Wednesday cloudy chance of flurries or showers. L 0 H 3

Thursday flurries. L -4 H -1
