Enjoy Tomorrow, Another Stormy Friday

Tomorrow high pressure will move across the region, ahead of a low pressure system approaching for Friday.
Today's model runs have brought the two models I use closer together than they were yesterday. Because of this the picture is becoming somewhat clearer. The American model, GFS, brings the low up through the Bay of Fundy and across northern NS. The Canadian Global model brings the low through the Gulf of Maine and into southern NB. Either scenarios gives us in Halifax snow changing to rain with a chance of freezing rain during the change over.
How much snow we receive will depend upon the track and we will hopefully have a better understanding tomorrow. I will update any changes during the day on my twitter acct, with a full update tomorrow evening.
The weekend as of now appears to be warm with a mix of sun and cloud on Saturday and cloudy on Sunday ahead of possibly more stormy weather early next week.
The models are having difficulty once again handling conditions for next week so we will look at that time frame at a later date.

The forecast for Halifax,

Tonight mainly cloudy. L -6

Thursday clearing in the morning. H -3

Friday snow changing to rain and windy. L -8 H 4

Saturday a mix of sun and cloud in the afternoon. L 0 H 6

Sunday cloudy. L 0 H 4
