Now that today's snowfall has moved off and as I type this at 6:00 pm clearing is moving in from the west.
High pressure builds in tomorrow, and as mentioned in yesterday's post, it will keep a low pressure system further to our south, averting another possible large snowfall. We will get some light snow from the system, around 2 maybe 4 cm.
On Monday the ridge of high pressure moves off to our east as a low pressure system passes through Quebec, giving us warm temperatures and rain, possibly heavy on Tuesday.
A cold front moves through on Wednesday and on Thursday a ridge of high pressure crosses the region.
The forecast for Halifax,
Tonight clearing skies. L -7
Saturday light snow in the afternoon, 2 cm. H -3
Sunday sunny. L -11 H -6
Monday a mix of sun and cloud. L -7 H 3
Tuesday rain. L 3 H 7
Wednesday cloudy. L -6 H 3
Thursday cloudy L -8 H -5.
