Another Stormy Friday

Friday night and early Saturday morning a low pressure system will travel up the Bay of Fundy to lie of Cape Breton Saturday morning. Ahead of this system snow will begin in the Halifax area before noon on Friday. During the afternoon it will change through ice pellets and freezing rain to rain by early evening.

On Sunday a low passing through Quebec will give us cloudy skies and a chance of showers. On Monday a low will pass to our east giving the chance of light snow later in the day. On Wednesday another low passes through Quebec giving us snow late Tuesday before changing to rain on Wednesday.


The forecast for Halifax,

Tonight increasing cloud. L -7

Friday snow beginning by noon. Windy. Changing through ice pellets and freezing rain to rain by early evening. Snow 5 - 10 cm, rain 20 mm. H 6

Saturday rain ending before morning, clearing in the afternoon. Temperatures 7 in the morning falling to -1 in the evening.

Sunday a chance of showers. L -4 H 6

Monday light snow developing in the afternoon. L -4 H 2

Tuesday partly cloudy in the morning, snow late in the day. L -8 H -4

Wednesday snow changing to rain. L -3 H 3

Thursday cloudy. L 2 H 4
