Sunny Today Before a Wet and Windy Wednesday

This morning Halifax is waking up to sunny skies with temperatures ranging from -3 at the airport  to 0 along the coast.
Today we will be under the influence of a high pressure system giving us a fine day before a low pressure system moves across northern NB tomorrow, giving us rain and wind. The sytem clears out for Thursday before another weak system passes by on Friday. However it is usually these weak ones we need to keep on eye on.

For today, we can expect Sunny skies with light winds and a high of 4.

Tonight clouds will increase with temperatures around 3.

For Wednesday, EC has issued a Rainfall Warning for Halifax. We can expect 30 mm of rain with strong SE winds of 50 km gusting to 80 km. Temperature should reach around 10.
With last weeks snow covering the storm sewers, flooding is a possibility.

Thursday has a mix of sun and cloud with a chance of flurries. L -1 H 1

And on Friday  flurries or showers. L-3 H 2.

The weekend doesn't look too bad now with next system not moving in until later Sunday.
