After today's snow has gottten everyone into the Christmas spirit, what can we expect weather wise over the next couple of days.
As I write this just before 1 pm snow continues to fall and continues back to the western part of the province, and we can expect it to tapper off later this afternoon.
Overnight tonight flurries will linger around the region with a low of -4*C.
On Saturday clearing in the afternoon with falling temperatures so for those heading off to church Christmas Eve, dress warmly.
For Sunday, Christmas day we can expect a mix of sun and clouds with temperatures just below the freezing point.
On Monday another system moves in with either snow or rain, as we get closer to the day the models will give us a better picture of what to expect. Just be aware if travelling is in your plans.
Then Tuesday night into Wednesday we should be on the warm side of a system which will give us rain.
That's the way it looks now.
